June is all about the family at the Detroit Institute of Art. From live performances to family-friendly workshops, there’s something for all ages to enjoy together. Drop-in workshops include Water Collage Postcards on Fridays 6-9 p.m., Kites on Saturdays noon - 4 p.m. and Asafo Flags (of Ghana) on Sundays noon - 4 p.m. And don’t miss Family Sundays, each week of the month. June 6 is an afternoon of storytelling, as Roan Judd combines mime, puppetry, and Irish drumming. Then, it’s Brunch with Bach on June 13, followed by another musical experience from LeCompagnie on June 20.
