A new child care program will be opening early this summer at the former Chappelle Community School, an elementary school within the Ypsilanti Community Schools District. The Collaborative – Ypsilanti YMCA Child Development Center will be licensed by the state of Michigan.
In addition to 15,000 new and used books, including a large children’s section, the store has comics, magazines, new and vintage video games, vinyl, CDs, DVDs and Blu-Ray, collectables, and original artwork from local artists. Chisholm wants his customers to linger, playing with toys and games, and, of course, reading.
