Ann Arbor Summer Festival and the Ann Arbor District Library Ban Together for Kooky Kreatures Contest

Ann Arbor District Library (AADL) has added a new partnership to their Bummer games, and itโ€™s definitely kooky. Kooky Kreatures is a chance for budding and experienced artists to try out their artistic skills and share their work with the community!

Kooky Kreatures allows players to submit their work to be published on the AADL website for all to share and color. Participants will download the Kooky Kreatures guide. From there, draw either a head, body, or feet of whatever monster or creature that comes to mind. Then submit whatever portion of the kreature to the Ann Arbor Summer Festival (A2SF). Theyโ€™ll pair one of your pieces to the pieces of other participants to build unique and definitely Kooky Kreatures. The drawings will be published for all to download and color. The best part is, the best colored submission will win a prize!

The AADL is asking that all submissions be drawn with black marker or pen on white paper for clarity. Additionally, digital submissions are welcome as well. Once the image is completed, send it to kookykreatures@a2sf.org for consideration in the contest.

All submissions must be entered by May 8th to be considered. Although printing then scanning onto a computer is the best method of submission, the A2SF will also accept photographs of drawings. There are also many smartphone scanners, and some resources here.

Are you kooky enough to create such a Kooky Kreature? Feel free to download the template here!ย
