Art is Not a Crime: Teen Graffiti Art Contest

The Ann Arbor District Library offers an eighth edition of its successful teen graffiti contest during Ann Arbor’s Art Fair weekend. Teens in grades 6-12 are encouraged to enter. Teens who participate create graffiti art using spray paint on canvas that is judged by peer teenagers and adults. Spray paint supplies, canvases and easels are supplied by the library. The top three winners receive gift certificates for art supplies in the amounts of $75, $50 and $25. Many of the finished pieces are selected to be part of a special summer exhibit in the Downtown Library. 11am-1pm. Free. Ann Arbor District Library, Downtown, 343 S.
