Give your family a night to remem- ber and experience the magic and mastery of Kodo, a traditional Japanese drum performance troop. Drums were used as ritual instru- ments as well as for entertainment and a way to call the community together. Kodo was honored by the Japanese government as a Living National Treasure, and the troop has been known to make a village out of audiences around the world. This new performance will demonstrate the thundering grace and percision while opening doors to the culture of the far east. 8pm. $10-$56. Hill Auditorium, 825 North University Ave. 734-763-3333. www.ums.org
