While dance moves change dramatically over time, (How did we go from the Charleston to twerking?) people have and will always dance. Dancing Through Time will explore the rich history of dancing with lectures and lessons from local dance company People Dancing. The troupe will start with the 1800s, the era of ballroom dancing and ballet, and dance their way to the present day. Children (grades 4 and up), teens and adults are encouraged to work up a sweat learning new and old-school moves.

Free. 3 – 4:15pm. Downtown Library,
