Gym America

Come to Gym America’s spectacular Summer Camp! Gym America offers a variety of camps that parents and kids can choose from. Additionally, parents can decide if their child should be in all day camps or half day camps. Each camp offers additional child care both before and after the day camp upon request.

Preschool Camp

Camp dates: June 14-17, June 28-July 1, July 12-15, August 2-5, August 23-26
Camp times: 9am to Noon
Ages: Preschool
Camp cost: $184/session and $10 off siblings and any additional camp

Gym & Swim

Camp dates: June 21-25, July 19-23, August 9-13
Camp times: 9am-4pm
Ages: First grade and up
Camp cost: $335/session and $10 off siblings and any additional camp

Adventure Camp

Additionally, Gym America offers half day mini camps. These camps will provide a new experience for your child. From Gym and Swim to Ninja classes, your child will be worn out by the time these half days are done!

Half Day Camp

Musical Theatre Day Camp

One Off Productions Youth presents Outdoor Musical Theatre Summer Camp! Campers will build confidence, creativity, and teamwork through acting, singing, and dancing as we work together to perform a musical! Every registered camper will be cast and no prior experience is required. Each session is a different musical! Final musical performance on the second Friday of camp at 6pm. 

COVID safety guidelines will be strictly observed. 

All camps will be held outdoors at Ford Lake Park (9075, S. Huron River Dr.) in Ypsilanti with virtual options for inclement days.

Camp dates: July 12-23, July 26-August 6
Camp times: 9am-3:30pm, with aftercare available until 6pm for an additional fee
Ages: 8-12
Camp cost: $500/two-week session

Washtenaw County Parks
and Recreation Commission

Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation features various different sites for your child’s camp experience. These camps are available to kids starting first grade through age eleven. Each camp will feature its own unique activities, with all hosting arts and crafts, Park Naturalist visits, nature activities, and outdoor and group games. 

Day camps are offered at Independence Lake County Park and Rolling Hills County Park. They take place from 9am. to 5pm. Monday through Friday, with pre-care and post-care available one hour before and after camp which is included in the camp fee. Programs range from 8 to 10-weeks and are structured to ensure your child has an unforgettable summer with lots of memories and fresh air. Playground camps are offered from 9am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday at various locations for children in the Ypsilanti-area.

Rolling Hills Summer Day Camp

Independence Lake County Park

Camp Cost: $200 per child (all-inclusive) and a $10 second sibling discount. Payment plans are available.

Wildwind Equestrian Center
“Where Everyone Belongs”

Is your child interested in horses or horseback riding? Why not check out Wildwind Equestrian Center’s summer camp! Each camp is divided into two separate camp levels based on their horse and riding experiences. Parents who are unsure what level their child should be at can contact Wildwind Equestrian Center and speak with a counselor to discuss what would be best for the child. Campers will have the chance to ride daily, learn about horse care (such as feeding, tacking grooming, and medical care) through hands-on activities and games. Riders will also play games both on and off their horses. The camp week ends with a home show for the family to enjoy together.

Level 1 and Level 2 Camps
