The community’s newest resource for children’s and women’s health, the University of Michigan’s new C.S. Mott Children’s and Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospitals will open this month. Families can tour the facilities on Sunday, November 6, from 10am-5pm free of charge. Family-oriented activities including a scavenger hunt, character appearances, interactive games and demonstrations from hospital staff will be offered as well as tours of the 12-story in-patient tower, 9-story clinic tower and the pediatric emergency department, along with the Women’s Birth Center. The Hospitals, which will open on Sunday, November 13, have state-of-the-art facilities including C.S. Mott Childrens’ interactive University of Michigan football themed playroom which features nine “play zones” in addition to the sights, sounds and spirit found on the field.
