On Saturday, August 13, The Rolling Hills Water Park and Eastern Michigan’s Autism Collaborative Center host the 5th Annual Autism Awareness and Family Day. The water park opens early for autism spectrum disorder families and friends only, allowing them to enjoy the facility in a much less crowded and stimulating environment. All ages are welcome; there are areas suitable for toddlers and parents alike. Features include a lazy river, water slides, a wave pool, splash zone and tot-slide. The park opens to the public at 11am, and all families are welcome to stay for the remainder of the day. Standard gate and water park admission fees apply.
