Hyperactivity and learning disabilities can seem overwhelming, but what if an educational workshop could offer parents resources and a supportive ear? Beginning on Monday, April 16, The University of Michigan's Center for the Child & the Family will offer a free Parent Education Workshop for parents of children with attention deficit-hyperactivity and learning disabilities. The workshop will cover topics including emotional impacts associated with disorders, treatment options, homework help and community resources. Parents will also have the opportunity to share ideas and support with other parents. The workshop continues on Tuesday, April 24, and Wednesday, May 2. Prior registration is required.
