Constant communication

The Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Reads program inspires community and encourages dialogue by the reading and discussion on a common book. The 2012 book chosen for the Reads Program is Born on a Blue Day: Inside The Extraordinary Mind of an Autistic Savant by 27-year-old Daniel Tammet. The book chronicles Tammet’s life, from his childhood with eight siblings to his achievements as an adult including the ability to perform complex calculations in his head and learn new languages fluently, from scratch, in one week.

The Reads Program will begin in January. Visit www.aareads.aadl.org for more info.
