Finding a solution

Parents and families with children on the autism spectrum may have held their breath with the University of Michigan Autism and Communication Disorders Center closed after Dr. Catherine
Lord accepted a position at the Director of the Institute for Brain Development in New York. However, U of M is at it again! Recently, the Center for the Child and Family (UCCF) has announced it will offer diagnosis and treatment for autism spectrum disorders from infancy to adulthood. Dr. Fiona Miller, a licensed clinical psychologist at UCCF, will administer and supervise the services. Assessments will include parental interviews, child observation and intervention recommendations in addition to individual and family therapy, social skill development, school consults and parental support.
