The Autism Collaborative Center and The Autism Society of Michigan pair to present a series of workshops designed to assist and educate parents, community service providers and educators who
support those with autism. The six workshops will discuss topics such as understanding autism and Asperger syndrome, viewing behavior as communication, disorders and sensory issues, curriculums for students with autism, and planning for transitional needs between childhood and young adulthood. The seminars will begin on October 7, 2010 and continue through May 12, 2011. Cost for the training sessions, $20.00 per session, or $100.00 for all six. You must pre-register in order to attend.
