Dreaming of a relaxing summer, enjoying music surrounded by nature? CelloChanWoods is warming up for its summer camp, a unique retreat for young cellists. The camp, at the Howell Nature Center in Howell, MI, invites cello students ages 11-15 to learn new ways to access their abilities in an atmosphere of mutual support and creativity. From July 26-29, students enjoy individual supervised practice, meditation, cello ensemble, bonfires and social activities. With a philosophy that draws together the body and the mind, CelloChanWoods hopes students will leave more grounded in their artistic journey.
