During the upcoming school breaks, come take some art classes together! Registration is now open for all upcoming sessions, and all classes will be held virtually.

The Ann Arbor Art Center (A2AC) is expanding its distance learning initiatives with three new fun and creative virtual camps for the fall, winter, and mid-winter breaks in the Ann Arbor School schedules. Registration for the three upcoming 3-Day Virtual Camps is open now.

The upcoming classes, Autumn Adventures, New Year’s Extravaganza, and Jungle Explorers, will feature one project per session. All sessions will be hosted on Zoom, where campers have access to live demos, feedback, quick games, and icebreakers.

Students will be provided with ArtBoxes that contain most of the supplies children will need for the virtual art camp projects. A list of common materials each participant will need is available on each Virtual Art Camp page.

Additionally, the projects, materials, and interactive sessions will provide flexibility to address each child’s personal interests, skill levels, and allows them to work at their own place. Each class is recorded and password-protected for a 5-day time period after a given session. There are also written and illustrated instructions included in each ArtBox for those students who have limited internet access or prefer less screen time.
