The Ark is excited to be presenting the live streaming event, “The Best of George Bedard and the Kingpins” as part of The Ark’s Family Room Series on Saturday, August 29 at 8pm.
Come virtually hang out at The Ark to enjoy as the band plays a mix of blues, rockabilly, swing, surf, and rock-n-roll favorites. Guitarist George Bedard, drummer Rich Dishman, and bassist Pat Prouty will be reimagining long-time audience favorites as well as some new material. The band will also be doing a tribute in honor of the fabulous late rock-n-roll pioneer, “Little Richard” Penniman. Mr. B, a Michigan b-ball and end-all of blues will be on piano as a special guest for the event
“It’ll be a little strange and we will miss a live audience,” says Bedard. “But we’re thrilled to have this chance to play together again. Thanks so much to The Ark for this opportunity.”
The concert is scheduled to be a 90-minute event, starting at 8pm. This event is free and is funded solely on donations. The band and The Ark will count on these donations to support those who make amazing shows like this possible.
The show will be broadcasted online live from The Ark Stage, which you can find here. You can also catch the show through The Ark’s Facebook.
