Downtown Ann Arbor will be full of vampires, princesses, ghosts and other characters/monsters during Main Street Ann Arbor’s annual Trick-or-Treat Parade on Oct. 27. Families are encouraged to dress up in costume and bring a candy-collecting bag for this Halloween celebration.
The costume parade starts at noon, with the lineup begining at 11:30am at the Ann Arbor District Library. Children dressed in costumes are invited to join the parade to show off their creativity. Following the parade, there will be family-friendly activities downtown until 3pm.

“We’re excited to bring back the Trick or Treat Parade on Main Street,” said Ashley Schafer, executive director of the Main Street Area Association and event coordinator. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for families to celebrate Halloween in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment while supporting our local businesses.”
This is a free event. To know which businesses are participating in trick-or-treat, look for black and orange balloons outside their establishments.
