Children of all ages can get in better touch with the natural world, when Larry Grudt of Animals Encountered presents the Animals Around the World program at the Gerald Eddy Discovery Center on Wednesday, October 27. Grudt brings in a wide variety of live animals for a true hands-on experience. Children can see firsthand the strategies and characteristics that our wild friends have evolved in order to survive in their environment. The Gerald Eddy Discovery Center is located at the Waterloo Recreation Area, 16345 McClure Rd, Chelsea. All programs $2 person / $5 family. Parking permit $6.
