As the 50th anniversary of the publication of Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird rounds the corner, The Ann Arbor Civic Theatre brings the acclaimed piece of literature to life. The play, adapted from Lee’s only novel, tells the story of Atticus Finch, a widowed lawyer, who defends a young black man in the 1950s South.
