Biwako Sushi

Biwako Sushi is a Japanese restaurant located in the heart of Saline, Michigan. They offer an extensive menu of sushi options, soups, grilled meat, including chicken and beef, as well as noodle bowls. For kids, there is a special menu that is made up of the half portions of their most popular items.

The kid’s menu includes the following options: edamame, white rice and miso soup, half udon, half seaweed salad, half grilled chicken, California rolls, three-piece veggie gyoza, and three-piece pork gyoza. Udon is a noodle-based soup dish, while gyoza are fried dumplings that can be filled with a choice of pork, scallions and/or vegetables. You are allowed to pick two items off of the special menu, at a price of $7.99. The restaurant also offers Pepsi products and water.

Zingerman’s Deli

Zingerman’s deli is an Ann Arbor staple delicatessen known for its sandwiches, salads and soups. There is a special menu for children that features items such as a kid’s meal deal, which comes with a sandwich of your choice made in a smaller size portion and includes a juice box and choice of pudding. Zingerman’s also has classic PB&J sandwiches, hot dogs and grilled cheese sandwich combo meals all including a choice of side and drink. Prices range from $5.99-$9.99.

Sweetgreen

Sweetgreen’s serves healthy and fresh meals at an affordable price. Their food focuses on organic ingredients. They have special meals for kids with three specially created plates.

The first one is called Ranchy Chicken and Rice, and includes rice, beans, grilled chicken bites, cucumber, parmesan crisps, as well as an organic ranch dressing to top it off on the side. The second meal is called Little Harvest, which has roasted chicken, sweet potatoes, apples, and a vinaigrette. The third meal is the Mini Mezze, which is roasted chicken, cucumbers, hummus, and tortillas. They also carry the Honest Kids brand of fruit juices, and these can be purchased at an additional cost.

Carlyle Grill

The Carlyle Grill is located on Jackson Road in Ann Arbor. It sources its food from Michigan farmers and other local sources in the state.There is something for everyone with steaks, burgers, grilled chicken and more. For anyone 12 and under, the Carlyle Grill offers a special menu with plates ranging from $6-$8, including dishes such as red pasta, chicken quesadillas, grilled chicken and cheeseburgers. Drinks and desserts are sold separately.

Maiz Mexican Cantina

Maiz Mexican is a restaurant located on East Cross Street in Ypsilanti, Michigan with traditional Mexican food fare. For anyone 10 and under there is a specially priced menu which includes items such as cheese and bean quesadillas, cheese quesadillas, arroz con pollo (chicken with rice), and two tacos topped with your choice of beef or chicken and cheese. Prices range from $6.99-$7.99. The menu also includes a scoop of ice cream for dessert at a special price ($2) as well. Adults must be present and order at least one entree in order to get this pricing.
