Michigan families are now ordered to stay at home to decrease the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). But the good news is that many of your favorite local restaurants are still open for takeout, curbside and delivery service. And today, March 24, is a great day to order in support of the grassroots effort called The Great American Takeout that is underway nationally to support the restaurant industry that has been greatly impacted by the spread of Coronavirus Covid-19.

For vegan options these two great restaurants that operate under the same parent organization and are updating daily menu options to adjust for efficiency. The Lunch Room menu includes scrumptious breakfast toast choices like avocado toast, pepita butter toast and an old favorite, cinnamon sugar toast. There’s also a selection of bagel sandwiches (baked in-house) and a weekly rotation of vegan soups. Their Quarantine Breakfast Burrito is the perfect comfort food stuffed with cashew nacho cheese, avocado, pico de gallo, spring mix and tofu scramble.
Buffalo Cauliflower Wings are everybody’s favorite at the Detroit Street Filling Station. If you want to really veg out, order the Lunch Room Power Up with brown rice, steamed kale, grilled red pepper, marinated tofu, walnuts and avocado. Ready for some comfort food? Seva is offering family-sized entrees packaged in covered aluminum pans for you to heat and serve. Each pan is 4-6 servings. Their family meal pack menu currently includes their enchiladas calabaza which are filled with butternut squash, cream cheese, green onions and spices with tomato sauce and Chihuahua cheese ($36), or try their baked mac & cheese dinner package complete with Seva’s creamy mac & cheese, a salad, and garlic bread ($39). They are also offering their ravioli primavera ($39) and vegan cavatappi primavera ($36) as family meal options.
