Squiggle Room Early Learning Center is a daycare and PreK. Squiggle Room offers before and after school care with bussing to select local elementary schools. Care is offered for infants as young as six weeks up to school aged children. They practice a combination of the Reggio Emelia method and the Montessori Method. The Reggio Emilia method highlights a child’s innate potential for growth and development with teachers as co-learners. The Montessori Method places an emphasis on self motivation and empowerment. There are opportunities for students to participate in a variety of enrichment activities including art projects, music, acting, science projects and more. Care is offered at Childtime Learning Center from infancy through PreK. This daycare uses a milestone based curriculum divided into different age groups. Each age group has their own classroom equipped with separate areas based on their unique developmental needs. These areas include fun spaces for arts and crafts, math, movement and more. This daycare also practices the Reggio Emilia approach. Childtime offers before and after school care. Their after school program includes homework help, indoor and outdoor play and STEM activities. Electives are offered in soccer, music, yoga, spanish, phonics, handwriting and advanced math. Uno Dos Tres Spanish Immersion Preschool offers care from ages one to five years old. Teachers are fluent Spanish speakers but a background in Spanish is not required for families to enroll at the daycare. All activities take place in Spanish but are carried out in a way that children can participate in and understand from the first day. This daycare offers a unique experience for children to engage in fun filled learning activities all while learning a new language. This daycare is located in Westminster Presbyterian Church however there is no affiliation with the church and all are welcome to enroll. FUMCN offers care for children ages 2-5 years old. They also offer a parent playgroup for parents and their children ages 18 months to 3 years old. Sibling care is offered for parents who are assisting in the preschool Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Parents are required to assist on a rotation which is about 2-4 times per month. This lowers the cost of tuition for the preschool and allows parents to connect with their child in a learning environment. Students have the opportunity to go on many fun local field trips. They have also recently renovated their playground. Full day care is offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Morning care is offered Monday through Friday.
