Ann Arbor’s beloved taqueria is opening up a new location in the space formerly occupied by the Foggy Bottom Coffee Shop in Dexter. The restaurant, still under construction, plans for a May opening. Gone are the disposable plates and silverware, making way for margaritas in glass cups! Chela’s will keep its family-friendly prices and commitment to sourcing food locally in the summer months. New menu items include flautas and the Mexican version of Spanish tapas, known as botanas. Chela’s is owned by Adrien Iraola, from Mexico City, and his wife Lori, an Ann Arbor native.
