Ypsilanti District Library (YDL), 826 Michigan, and Eastern Michigan University’s (EMU) Office of Campus and Community Writing have combined to launch a new community writing program, YpsiWrites. The new program offers free drop-in writing assistance for adults and older teens at YDL locations along with special events that will encourage writing on community-suggested topics. Drop-in hours at Ypsilanti District Library branches will be from 11am-2pm Saturdays at the Whittaker branch, from 4-7pm Wednesdays at the Michigan Avenue branch, and 4-6pm Tuesdays at the Superior branch.
