Universal Access Playground

Kids and adults alike love searching for Ann Arbor’s famous fairy doors, which provide a little bit of magic and wonder to our community. That’s why families love the Universal Access Playground, which was designed to expand on the fantastical, fairy door theme so many know and love. This playground, which is located inside of Gallup Park, is designed for younger pre-K and early elementary school kids. Features include the Woodland Region, which is designed to help kids develop motor skills and balance, the River Region, which hosts a wheelchair accessible playscape, and the Prairie Region, which has swings that allow for easy transfer to-and-from mobility devices.
