The Riverside Arts Center has announced single-day drop-in and full week opportunities for its Art Explorers Summer Camp, for children ages 6 to 12.
The drop-in format is designed to give families the flexibility to register for individual days of camp rather than committing to a full week. At $75 per day, campers can attend from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, with registration for each week opening seven days in advance. Drop-in days are available every week except for “Cute Critters” week.
The 2025 summer camp runs for six weeks, from June 23 through August 8, and each week explores a different theme.
If a camper enjoys their drop-in day, families can choose to upgrade to the full-week experience by paying the difference toward the weekly rate of $285.

The full Art Explorers Summer Camp program has also been expanded this year to include a wider age range, now welcoming children ages 6 through 12.
Camp fees are $300 per week for non-Ypsilanti residents, and $285 per week for Ypsilanti residents using a discount code. Families also have the option to opt into free daily lunch and snacks provided by the Riverside Arts Center.
All sessions will take place at the Riverside Arts Center in downtown Ypsilanti. Space for both full weeks and drop-in days is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
