Ann Arbor Thanksgiving To-Go

With every passing year, more home chefs opt to take it the relaxing route and have their Thanksgiving meal prepared by someone else in order to enjoy the holiday a bit more. 

If you’re one of those people looking to take some of the burden off your holiday workload this year – here are some great local places in the area that will help you take your Thanksgiving memories “to-go.” AND…these local spots are offering creative options –  why not taste what they have to offer?  

Local Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Milan, and Saline restaurants offering carryout Thanksgiving meals.

Weber’s

Weber’s offers a “Thanksgiving Family Style To Go,” serving ten people for $200, including one whole turkey (15 lbs before cooking), house salad, rolls and butter, ambrosia salad, beet salad, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, cranberry relish, and one pumpkin pie.  Order HERE.

Paesano’s

You wouldn’t think a traditional Italian restaurant offers the typical Thanksgiving take-out, but it does! They are calling it: “Thanksgiving Dinner 2Go.” Their menu includes a choice of oven-roasted turkey or a confit turkey leg. It comes with mashed potatoes, candied yams, green bean casserole with cremini mushrooms, brioche dressing, cherry-orange cranberry relish, gravy, garden salad with Italian dressing, and dinner rolls. The per-person cost is $39, or a special for three dinners at $99. Dessert is extra but original: pumpkin cheesecake with whipped Maple Mascarpone and Gingersnap Crust. Phone orders are taken by Sunday, November 21, and pick up Wednesday, November 24. 

Knight’s 

Knight’s offered (but is now sold out) a “Thanksgiving Family Meal” that serves either 10-12, family of 4, or family of 2. Their meals include roasted Amish turkey (white and dark meat, carved), traditional stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, gravy, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. Other offerings still available to order for the meal are old-fashioned ham by the pound, creamy mac-n-cheese, and Alyssa salad. Their pie options include dutch apple pie, Kentucky bourbon pecan pie, key lime pie, and Knight & Day Pie. “Old Fashioned Ham by the pound”  and many sides sold separately are the only items now available.   Order HERE

Gandy Dancer

They are offering “A Feast Brought Home,” for $289 and includes a whole 20 lb turkey for 10-12 people along with whipped potatoes, homemade gravy, cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce, candied sweet potatoes, marinated vegetable salad, acorn squash, house-made bread, pumpkin pie, and pecan pie. Must order by Sunday, November 21. Advanced payment required and nonrefundable. 

Zingerman’s Cornman Farms

Their holiday offering includes Thanksgiving turkey, tenderloin, kale salad, squash soup, mashed potatoes, crispy stuffing, various sauces, and desserts. You can order a turkey to serve two, four, or 8-10 people. The largest turkey is $320. Their turkey is brined for 24 hours in thyme, sage, rosemary, garlic, shallots, berries, and other spices. Gravy along with all the accompaniments need to be ordered separately. According to a representative at Cornman Farms, “The cut-off date for ordering would be Friday, November 19, 2021, or when we sell out, whichever comes first! We definitely recommend ordering early as it begins to sell out fast.”  Orders can be placed HERE.

Katherine’s Catering

They are offering a “Thanksgiving Feast Package” of $375, which includes a farm-raised whole roasted turkey, fresh cranberry-orange chutney, mayflower melody (with butternut squash spiced), harvest green bean Gratin, dressing, mashes potatoes, gravy, sweet potato muffins, rolls, apple, and pumpkin pie. Orders must be placed by November 18. 

The Produce Station

The Produce Station is offering “The Traditional Feast Package,” which includes a 12-pound roasted Tom Otto’s Farm Turkey, traditional bread stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, Mandarin cranberry sauce, wild mushroom & green bean saute, spiced walnut & cranberry salad, and homemade rolls for $169.99 More info HERE.

Fresh Forage

They offer a “Take and Bake” Thanksgiving dinner for $250 which includes an 8-12 lb brined free-range turkey (ready to roast), apple greens salad with maple-mustard dressing, mashed sweet potatoes, seasonal vegetables, gravy, and port cranberry sauce, reportedly serving 4 to 6 people. Zingerman’s Deli

The Deli is offering “a complete feast” for takeout. Their whole bird meal serves 6 to 8 people and is $325 for a whole bird or $340 for the whole carved bird, and includes mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, stuffing, wild rice, and maple sweet potatoes, along with a loaf of their famous bread, spiced pecans, and their Pilgrim pumpkin pie. Per person, Thanksgiving meals also available include sliced turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce.  More info HERE.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House

This Steak House is offering “Thanksgiving at Your Table” for $175, designed to serve four and includes oven-roasted turkey breast, sausage & herb stuffing, gravy, and cranberry relish, choice of salad and side, and four chocolate sin cakes. Satchel’s

The Local BBQ hotspot is offering Thanksgiving meals for pre-order including: a whole smoked turkey (about 12-15 lbs) (feeds around 12-15 people for $110),  A whole smoked brisket (feeds about 12-15 people for $150), and side dishes of mashed potatoes, mac-and-cheese, collard greens, cole slaw, and homemade gravy for $12 per quart – available to order HERE.

Vinology

The downtown A2 spot is offering a whole turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, gravy, cranberry relish, rolls and a pumpkin pie (serves 8-12) $275 / $150 (half).  A charcuterie board for $60 (serves 6-8) or a la carte items at $9 per quart.  Preorder one week in advance; pickup anytime Wednesday or until Noon on Thursday. The Dixboro Project

Pre-ordered Thanksgiving Feast: Celebrate Thanksgiving with a traditional feast from The Dixboro Project, featuring a 10 lb. Amish turkey accompanied with all of the classics. Relax and let our team do most of the cooking this year.  Full menu includes food for six people: assorted charcuterie items + lobster, crab, and cream cheese dip with baguette + 10 lb Amish herb turkey with gravy + binjte potato puree + parmesan & leek stuffing + honey & spice poached cranberries + carrots + green bean gratin.
