Registration is now open for the 2016 Spring Season of Girls on the Run of Southeastern Michigan, a nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing the physical, emotional, and spiritual health of girls and young women. The organization partners with many Ann Arbor-based schools through two separate ten-week programs – one for grades 3-5, the other for grades 6-8. Each girl will receive a t-shirt, 20 lessons from instructors, a water bottle, a “Grown-Up Guide” for families, and each participant will automatically be entered in the 5K in May. Girls will also receive a medal following the 5K.
