Featured Authors Talk at A2 Community Bookfest

The A2 Community Bookfest will welcome authors, vendors, programs and guests to the  Downtown Library this Sunday, September 10 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
The community may know this event by its former name, the Kerrytown Bookfest.
Three outstanding authors will be featured at the A2 Community Bookfest including J. Ryan Stradal (“The Lager Queen of Minnesota”), Sonali Dev (upcoming release “Lies and Other Love Languages”) and Stephen Mack Jones (“August Snow”). Each author will host talks and book signings.
The Fifth Avenue Press Book Release Reception will also take place to celebrate authors who recently completed works with the Library’s publishing imprint.
Bookfest also features events for kids and teens like Kids Write with 826Michigan and Origami Elephants with Ian Tadashi Moore. Kids Write is geared toward children ages 9–14 years old.
In Origami Elephants with Ian Tadashi Moore, Participants will make origami elephants inspired by his illustrated children’s book, Zōsan.
