A artistic spin on summer camp

Looking for a fun way to entertain your child this summer? Camp is not only an amazing way for children to make friends, have new experiences, but also to learn and to embrace the arts. The Ann Arbor Art Center holds its summer camp, “Camp Creativity,” from June 21 to August 27. These camp sessions (all-day, afternoon or morning) are for children ages four through twelve. Each age group has specially-designed programs to fit the children’s artistic abilities and interests. Painting, working with clay on the wheel and other creative things that children love — even making mud pies! — are just a few projects the campers work on. The camps are held at the newly renovated and air-conditioned Liberty Street Building. All the staff and instructors are trained in art and teaching to provide children with the best possible combination of art and fun. The cost of a one-week session for members of The Ann Arbor Art Center is $90, $100 for non-members.
