Let’s Go Fiddlin’!

The Ypsilanti Symphony Orchestra starts off its 13th season with Let’s Go Fiddlin’ a genre-bending musical event which combines classic symphonic pieces with the sweet twang of the fiddle. Conductor Adam C. Riccinto, leads the YSO with “Roman Carnival Overture” by Hector Berlioz and “Cappricio Espagnol” by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. Then the YSO will collaborate with special guests from the Tecumseh Schools Orchestra, The Tecumseh Fiddlers, which is a high school ensemble. The fiddler’s director, Amy Marr, will also delight the crowd with a solo on “The Fiddle Concerto” by Mark O’Connor. 3:30pm. $6.
