You break it, you build it

. March 19, 2013.

Why buy new or be dependent on someone else to fix your broken possessions when you can Do-It-Yourself (DIY)? That “make it happen” spirit is the theme for this year’s Summer
Reading program at the Ann Arbor Downtown Library. In honor of DIY, the Library hosts Wreck and Make Labs, where attendees can take apart old or broken “stuff,” see how it works, and make new “stuff.” Each pair of wreck and make labs has a different focus: gadgets, clothing, and computer to art.
Wreck Lab: Gadgets!
Fri July 2 & Tue July 6
Wreck Lab: Clothing!
