When the sun goes down, things heat up at Glenlore Trails, reopening for the summer season June 15, 2022.
The nighttime forest experience returns with a new concept each season, and this summer is PULSE: The Rhythmic Sounds of Summer Nights. Immerse yourself in magical illuminations while music seeps into your soul as you walk the mile-long trail that can only be described as enchanting.
Glenlore Trails (3860 Newton Road in Commerce Township), is an immersive, multi-sensory experience. PULSE is described as “an all-new melodic experience with interactive moments, dazzling displays of light, sound, and wonder,” via their website. The interactive storyline follows Aria, who is on a quest to restore magic and needs the help of her friends – that’s you!
The forest experience is family friendly, and perfect for a date night, girls’ night out, or any other reason you can think of! Families tend to prefer earlier time-slots and can go quickly, so it’s best to reserve your tickets.
The experience is open Thursdays-Sundays (check ahead, as there are exceptions) and runs until Mid-September, when the Trails close down to prepare for their Fall exposition.
Season passes are also available, which are good for one year.
In addition to the immersive walking experience, which generally takes an hour to complete, concessions and merchandise are available for purchase. While participants are encouraged to keep their cell phones in their pockets, photography is acceptable. Live performances are also scattered throughout the walking trail.
Glenlore Trails wants to hear from you! Interested artists, such as digital artists, technologists, and performers, are encouraged to contact them – you can do that by clicking here. They are also hiring for concessions, trail guides, parking attendants, and ticket handlers – click here if interested.
