Youth can have a dramatic edge, but what if they could hone their talent? The Ann Arbor Civic Theatre will host auditions on Monday, March 12, from 5-6:30pm and Wednesday, March 14, from 4:30-6pm at its Theatre Studio (322 W. Ann St.). With 25 roles for students in fourth through twelfth grades, AACT's Junior company will perform The Phantom Tollbooth, an adaptation from the beloved children's book which spins the tale of Milo who can enter a land of wisdom via a magical tollbooth. Auditions will consist of cold readings and theater games, no preparation or pre-registration is required.

Directed by Jenny Koppera, the show will debut on May 17 and run through May 20. For more info call 734-971-2228 or visit  www.a2ct.org
