A tale to tell

The Ark’s Storytelling Festival is an Ann Arbor tradition where tale-spinners from across the globe gather this year, on Sunday, February 19, at 1pm The Ark will share tales from storytellers including Willy Claflin, Zalka Csenge Virag, Alison Downey and Lyn Davidge. New Hampshire’s own Willy Claflin is a master storyteller, mainly for adults, however, youthful fans are awed with his original and traditional stories which can include songs ranging from ballads to blues and rock n’ roll. Zalka Csenge Virag, all the way from Hungary, shares the folktales of Hungary. Alison Downey is a Michigan native, hailing from Kalamazoo. Her stories have been acclaimed as masterful, genius and charismatic. Lyn Davidge, of Ann Arbor, will conclude the festivities with original stories drawn from life experiences, full of power and positivity.
