The Ann Arbor Street Art Fair committee is giving kids the chance to exhibit and sell their works of art in the 2012 Kids’ Art Fair. Before before being accepted into the show, however, interested students must participate in one of three jury sessions. Held at the Ann Arbor District Library Pittsfield Branch, the young artists must be prepared to show their artwork to the panel of judges, as well as speak about the meaning behind their piece. The experience will teach kids in grades 3-8 what it’s like to be a real life art entrepreneur. All work will be displayed in a booth setting during the July 16th Townie Street Party.
Jury sessions will be held: Sunday, April 29th from 2-5 PM; Wednesday, May 2nd 5-7 PM, Sunday, May 6th 2-5 PM. For more information or to download the application form go to: https://www.artfair.org/main/main.jsp?id=34.
