White Lotus Farms, a local certified organic 501(c) -3 Non-profit farm that shares the land with the Tsogyelgar Buddhist community, isn't just a staple of Washtenaw County's sustainable agriculture community. It's also one of the best local options to let your kids play with baby bunnies and goats.

Located just 7 miles West of Downtown Ann Arbor on West Liberty, White Lotus Farms hosts its much-lauded (and completely secular) Kid’s Day on the last Saturday of every month from May to June, with its next event on Saturday, June 25, running from 9:30am to 2:00pm.

And though every Saturday from May through September the farm is open to the public with its Farm Cart, which sells fresh produce, cheese, bread and coffee from RoosRoast and Mighty Good Coffee Company, Kid's Day also features a live kid’s band, arts + crafts, and face painting. But let's be real: your kids really want to see the baby goats and bunnies.

Scheduled activities include a Goat Milking Demo (10:30-11:00am), Live Music (11:30am-12:30pm), in addition to Fresh Baked Pizzas from Noon to 1:30pm. And if you can't make it out to the farm on a Saturday between now and September, you can also find White Lotus Farms goods in stores like Argus Farm Market and Mighty Good Coffee.
