Get ready for Grillin’ 2011! The community picnic is a benefit for the Food Gatherers who offer meals to Washtenaw County’s hungry. Guests will enjoy food from area restaurants including Grange Kitchen and Bar, Everyday Wines, Common Grill, Corner Bistro and more with desserts from Zingerman’s Bakehouse and Creamery. Live music from George Bedard and the Kingpins, Laith Al-Saadi and The RFD Boys will be featured, along with a food-inspired silent auction and, of course, beer and wine. The Ann Arbor Hands-on Museum will sponsor activities and demonstrations for kids throughout the event. Grillin’ 2011 will take place at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds (5055 Ann Arbor-Saline Rd.) on Sunday, June 12, from 3-8pm.

Tickets are $50 for adults, $10 for kids ages 3-13. For more info or to pur-chase tickets call the Food Gatherers at 734-761-2796 or visit www.foodgatherers.org
