Healing as a family

Dawn Farm not only helps addicts and alcoholics achieve long-term recovery, but also their families with education and support. On Tuesday, January 19 from 7:30-9 p.m., the organization hosts
“Chemical Dependency and the Family.” The session, led by Nancy J. Quay, addresses the roles and behaviors that family members often acquire when living with addiction, ways in which each family member is affected and options to obtain help to cope with addiction in the family. All presentations in the series are free (no registration required) and are held at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Education Center Auditorium (5305 Elliott Dr., Ypsilanti).
