Bowling is typically a winter sport.  But with this summer’s seemingly limited choices of raging heat waves or pouring rain, it might be worth taking the family out to enjoy this winter past time, especially if it’s free for the kids!  Kids Bowl Free is a national effort by bowling centers, schools, and community organizations to work together to provide children and young teens with a fun and safe way to spend their summer.  At participating locations, children under the age limit established by each location can be registered to receive two free games of bowling a day, everyday, through August 31.  Participating in this area are: Bel-Mark Lanes and Colonial Lanes in Ann Arbor and Ypsi-Arbor Lanes in Ypsilanti.
