The whimsical world of Seuss

Get ready to enjoy the fantastical, magical, musical world of Dr. Seuss as The Pioneer Guild Theatre presents Seussical. Horton the Elephant finds himself posed with challenges. He must protect his friend Jojo and the Whos from dangers, while guarding an abandoned egg. Seussical shares the themes of friendship, loyalty and community with audiences of all ages. University of Michigan theatre student Joel Sparks directs along with choreographer Will Burton, also a U of M student. The presentation was brought to life by the creative interpretations of Tony Award winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.

Tickets are $9 for students, seniors and PHS faculty and $12 for adults. Shows begin Saturday, April 23, at 7:30pm at Schreiber Auditorium. Shows continue on Friday, April 29, at 7:30pm, Saturday, April 30, at 2 and 7:30pm and on Sunday, May 1, at 2pm. 601 W. Stadium Blvd. 734-994-7842.
