Live On Washington 2016

The Neutral Zone, a local teen center, is back with their 4th annual music and arts festival, Live on Washington. The free one day fest takes place on Saturday, June 4 from 3-10pm in front of Neutral Zone. Live on Washington features teen musicians and artists and is curated and planned by area youth. Two stages will host 20 teen performances ranging from dance and hip hop to poetry. The party will be closed out by headliner Vulfpeck, a funk group that started at UM in 2011 and recently gained national attention for concept albums released on Spotify.

While Live on Washington is free and open to the public, the teens have an Indiegogo to raise money for the expenses associated with the festival. Supporters can get festival merch and access to a VIP viewing area overlooking the main stage. Supporting the event will continue to give teens the opportunity to plan and participate in future festivals.
